Design of belt conveyor attachment for LMW smart turn CNC machine for removing chips

Abstract
Automation is a step beyond mechanisation to increase productivity and improve the quality. The productivity level in an advanced manufacturing environment can be improved by proper design of mechanism at the initial stage in the manufacturing system. An attachment is designed and manufactured to reduce time and ensure safety of workers.. The aim of this paper is to design and simulate attachment for LMW smart turn CNC machine. 3D modeling of the attachment is created in SOLIDWORKS and analyzed for stress, deformation and frequency distribution in ANSYS WORKBENCH.
